Abstract:
Tuvalu developed this Policy as a response to recent water crises, and to ensure together we stand ready for future challenges.
The purpose of the WSP is to ensure that the people of Tuvalu have continued access to safe, reliable, affordable and sustainable water and sanitation facilities. The policy supports Tuvaluâs key planning document, Te Kakeega II (National Strategy for Sustainable Development), as well as key regional frameworks such as the Millennium Development Goals, the Pacific Plan, and the Pacific Regional Action Plan on Sustainable Water Management.
