Abstract:
The Kosrae Shoreline Management Plan: Repositioning for Resilience reviews the progress of Kosraeâs preparations for the predicted impacts climate change and provides strategies for adapting to and mitigating these potential impacts. The plan describes the requirement for the relocation of key infrastructure and residential areas away from coastal areas that are susceptible to inundation and prioritises coastal protection and other infrastructure works.
