Abstract:
Fiji recognizes REDD-plus as an opportunity to contribute towards global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, strengthen the socio-economic status of its forest resource owners and protect its forest ecosystems. With the increasing interest in REDD-plus, the Policy is very timely as it provides a national framework for implementation to interest REDD project developers.
