Abstract:
The 'Drinking Water Safety Planning - A Practical Guide for Pacific Island Countries' has been developed to assist drinking water supply operators and managers improve the day-today management of the water supply with the objective of producing safe drinking water for consumers. This guide has been developed based on lessons learned and practical experience gained through an AusAID funded joint SOPAC/WHO programme on drinking water safety planning in the Pacific Island Countries. This project involved four pilot countries (Tonga, Cook Islands, Palau and Vanuatu).
