Our work
Climates works in the Australia-Pacific region, supporting communities that are building local resilience to climate impacts, and engaging everyday people in conversations about how we can, individually and collectively, address the cause and impacts of climate change.
Your role
This role is a two-year position based in Suva with travel around the region. We’re looking for candidates that have, at a minimum:
- a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (community and international development, environmental and/or social policy and/or management, environmental science, engineering) or equivalent experience;
- 3-5 years of field-related work in any of the above or related fields;
- 3-5 years community or international development experience in the Pacific;
- Demonstrated interest via professional experience, study, and/or volunteering, in climate-related and/or community-based work.
