| Project Objectives | The project contributes to mainstreaming the gender dimension in climate change adaptation and low-carbon development (LCD) measures in developing countries and in climate policy. Its approach is to boost knowledge and capacity by providing training on gender-sensitive adaptation and LCD measures; it supports this work by producing information and training material. In addition, the project develops indicators and methodologies for the selection and monitoring of gender-sensitive adaptation measures and formulates proposals for political strategies. |
