RAINWATER harvesting can be an appropriate alternative to lessen the dependency on river water, says Fiji National University Department of Environmental Science head Dr Ajantha Perera.
Dr Perera said in light of the impact of climate change, the most important challenge of today was to find alternative sources of water under extreme weather conditions.
