THE Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, has unveiled four new Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships today. The scholarships will support students of Climate Resilience at universities in two of the areas most affected by global climate change.

Prince Harry made the announcement at the University of the South Pacific in Suva today. The four Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships for Climate Resilience will be offered to young people from the Pacific Islands and the Caribbean from 2019, encouraging Pacific-to-Caribbean mobility, enabling further exchange of ideas and innovations in the field of climate resilience between the two regions.

Fully-funded by the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan Endowment Fund, these four new scholarships will support students from the Caribbean to undertake Master’s degrees at universities in the Pacific, and vice-versa.
