TO fight climate change, measures can be implemented locally, and these include reducing human factors such as polluting the environment.
According to Palau Consul to Saipan Eileen Kintol, “It takes individual members of the community to address climate change. For example, recently, the Republic of Palau has passed a law banning the use of plastic bags. This is one of the many steps to decrease environmental pollution.”
University of Seville researcher Luis Pérez Urrestarazu said to mitigate the effects of climate change, communities can talk about their options which include reducing emissions.
