El Nino & La Nina Short Animated Films (Produce Science to Solutions)

Abstract:

Two short comical animation films are being developed as communication tools. One film gave an overview of climate processes and impacts in the Pacific region as a whole. The other film was specifically focused on Vanuatu, developed in culturally significant and targeted ways to help communicate complex climate information to relevant practitioner audiences. They are accompanied by a comprehensive ‘tool kit€™ which include resources to help facilitators link the information presented in the animation to decision making and action.
